The 9 th phase of the dry food distribution project took place on Sunday 12th March , 2023 at a Pethalai, a village in Valaichchenai area in the Batticaloa District where some of the poorest of poor live . 50 families chosen by the Grama Sevaka were given packs each valued at Rs 4,000 thus the total contribution was Rs 200,000. Main contributor towards this exercise was our member Palan and his family . With this we have covered 9 districts out of 22.
