On the 31st of July 2020, the Rotary Club of Colombo West celebrated its 60th Charter Meeting Anniversary. This event was attend by many of its club members including its Past Presidents.
The Rotary Club of Colombo West, which was chartered on 31st July 1961 is the second largest club in Sri Lanka and consist of members across a diverse range of industries and professions and is actively involved in community service projects across the country. The club has produced four District Governor including immediate Past District Governor, S. Karunakaran.
Rotary which commenced in 1905, is a global network whose membership now exceeds 1.2 million in over 200 countries who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change. Rotary in Sri Lanka has more than 2000 Rotarians in over 70 Rotary Clubs.
