In recognition of the month of September, which has been identified for Basic Education and Literacy by Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Colombo West donated Laptops to the Saraswathy Tamil Vidyalayam

On the 12th of September 2018, the Rotary Club of Colombo West held its first networking social for the Rotary calendar year with 70s theme party held at the Club House, Havelock City.

For the second consecutive year the Rotary Club of Colombo West donated uniform and other support items to trainee dental nurses through Dental Care International. All the recipients of the items are orphans.

The interact Club of D. S. Senanayake along with Rotaract Club of Colombo West organized a blood donation campaign on the 15th of September. Members of the Rotary Club of Colombo West attended and support the initiative by donating blood.
