Cost of Project -Rs.300,000.00
Scope- Supply and Installation of Solar LED lighting to 42 homes in Tammanna, Hambantota, a remote village situated in an elephant infested jungle.
No benefited -42 homes with an approximate population of 200.

Participation by Colombo West Rotarians -Members of the Rotary Clubs of Colombo West attended the inauguration of the project by Hon.Sajith Premadasa Depunty Minister of Health on Saturday 22 nd February003
Funds -All funds for this project and the design and installation of this newly developed LED lighting system were provided by the members of the Rotary Club of Colombo West.
Other Rotary Club involvement -The project was actively assisted by the President and members of the Rotary Club of Hambantota who supervised the installation of the home lighting system and organised the opening ceremony.
